Netanyahu Gives Trump 'Golden Pager' in Honor of Terror Attack on Lebanon
Leon Panetta, the former CIA head, said the pager attack was act of terror
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly gave U.S. President Donald Trump a “golden pager” to mark Israel’s exploding pager operation that Leon Panetta, the former CIA head, called a terror operation.
Trump gave Netanyahu a picture of the two of them that said, “To Bibi, a great leader,” according to The NY Sun.
The attack occurred on 17 September and killed at least 12, and injured thousands, including children.
Middle East Eye, which cited Channel 12 News, noted that Trump called the terror attack a “great operation.”

There was a second wave of similar attacks in Lebanon that killed at least 25 and wounded thousands. The second attack targeted walkie-talkies.
Hospitals across Lebanon were overwhelmed and most of the injuries involved permanent hand disfigurement and blindness.
NPR noted that legal scholars focused on Article 7(2) of the Amended Protocol II of the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons that prohibits the use of booby traps.
The U.S., under Joe Biden, tried to distance itself from the attack and said it was unaware and played no role in the terror campaign.
American and other officials briefed on the operation told the paper that Israelis managed to put small explosives inside these pagers and detonate them. Israel has not officially claimed responsibility, but its supporters have used pagers as a form of taunting.
Norman Finkelstein, the Middle East scholar, was given a pager while crossing the street.
Ryan Girdusky, the conservative commentator, was scolded on a CNN set when he told Mehdi Hasan, a progressive commentator, during a heated interaction: “I hope your beeper doesn't go off.”
Craig Mokhiber, a former UN lawyer, said in an interview that the Israeli government introduced the world to a new form of terror attacks.
Mokhiber, a former senior Human Rights official at the UN, joined “The Katie Halper Show” podcast to discuss the attack and told her that the celebratory response by some in the West was “quite disturbing.”
“This was a massive terrorist attack on the Lebanese people, on the country of Lebanon,” he said.
“The first thing about an attack like this is that any place where this had happened, it would be a historic event because of the scope and nature of the attack. And the degree to which the Western media tries to sanitize this one…I think it is going to be very disturbing. I’m not sure they’ll get away with it,” he said.
“I think, secondly, is that this opens up a very dangerous new front on global terrorism…putting us all at risk. Once again, Israel has found a way to threaten the safety of all of us because this is another tactic of terrorism that won’t stop with Israel doing it to Lebanon in this case. Israel will likely do it in other places and others will mimic this approach as well…So, once again, Israel has made us all less safe,” he said.
Then the question is: is it bugged and/or going to explode on command?
Pure evil.
