WHAT HAPPENED TO 24 HOURS? Trump Team Now Aims to End Ukraine War in 100 Days, Mearsheimer Says Fat Chance
Russia is in the driver's seat and will insist on demands the incoming president will find politically challenging to agree to
During the 2024 Presidential Campaign, Donald Trump ran as a peace candidate for Ukraine and vowed that he would magically be able to end the war in 24 hours.
He did not provide any details because the Presstitute media didn’t need any explanation, but his lack of clarity raised some suspicions for the independent media that did not seek an invitation to Mar-a-Lago for a free vodka tonics. (We make our own.)
CELENTE JOINS ROUNDTABLE ON UKRAINE WAR
But reality seems to be setting in.
Keith Kellogg, the pro-Ukraine hawk Trump tapped as his special envoy on the Ukraine conflict, told Fox News that he gave himself a self-imposed goal to resolve the conflict within 100 days — not quite the 24 hours candidate Trump promised, but still respectable, considering the war started 1,051 days ago and then the fact that there have been essentially no negotiations to end the conflict since Boris Johnson whispered in Kyiv’s ear.
Kellogg didn’t explain how he would accomplish such a feat, and there are doubts about his chances.

John Mearsheimer, the University of Chicago professor, said in an interview with Judge Andrew Napolitano that he does not believe Kellogg will be able to deliver on his promise.
“He can’t, in my opinion,” Mearsheimer said. “The Russians are in the driver’s seat – the Russians – for a good strategic reason from their perspective – are driving a hard bargain, and it’s almost impossible for me to see President Trump accepting the terms that the Russians demand. And, therefore, I don’t think this is going to be settled in 100 days.”
Polyakova’s Foreign Affairs report noted that Konstantin Malofeyev, a Russian oligarch who has close ties to the Kremlin, told the Financial Times that he also thinks Kellogg’s plan is DOA.
“Kellogg comes to Moscow with his plan, we take it, and we then tell him to screw himself because we don’t like any of it,” he said.
Alina Polyakova, who works for the Center for European Policy Analysis, wrote in Foreign Affairs that Kellogg recently tried to get the ball rolling on negotiations by warning Ukraine that a Trump White House will stop weapons support if it does not agree to negotiate with Russia; Kellogg also informed the Kremlin that Trump would increase the weapons flow to Ukraine if Moscow refuses to negotiate.
Scott Ritter, the former UN weapons inspector, also spoke with Napolitano’s “Judging Freedom,” and said the incoming Trump administration has its work cut out for it because Russia is winning the war, and knows it.
“How do you convince Russia to cease a conflict that Russia’s winning when your demands for the cessation of conflict can only be imposed on Russia if Russia was losing?” Ritter asked. “Trump has to overcome his own ego on that, and he has to except the fact that Russia has not only won, but Russia has won big, and as the big winner, Trump understands the big winners get the big payout. And the United States is going to have to give Russia the big payout that it’s demanding in Ukraine.”

Trumplestein, just like the rest of them, is a liar.
If you remember “ Two Weeks” to flatten the curve, then just do the Trump Algorithm and “24 hours” instantly extends past his pseudo- presidency. Donald Trump talks incoherently and incessantly. He has the attention span of an amoeba. Trump is like the weather in Boston. If you don’t like it, just wait a minute!
